Can Google Nest's voice volume be controlled independently from the Google Nest's media volume?

Google Home and Google Nest speakers and displays don't have separate volume controls for Google Assistant and media playback unfortunately. As a workaround, you can try enabling the night mode feature which reduces the volume of assistant responses during set times.

No, but...

You can mute ALL of Google's responses and increase volume to play music/videos or individual automation responses throughout the day and night, but unfortunately the media volume is intertwined with the assistant volume.
